Welcome to ASCENDANT, where you, your squad of unlikely heroes, and four biocores are all that stand between survival and total annihilation.
ASCENDANT is capture-the-flag... on crack. After a thousand-year cryo-nap, you wake up to find the world’s gone to sh*t: mutant wildlife, rogue tech, and rival squads battling for biocores filled with amber that keep your Shade alive. The catch? Every match is different. Thanks to the virtual Game Director, biocore locations, available rooms, and wild events shift with every game, forcing you to adapt... or die. Four teams, four biocores… you do the math.
Every decision matters. Spend power wisely - your team’s collective pool grows as you fight mutant creatures, and how you use it can mean the difference between victory and a humiliating respawn. Unlock weapons and items mid-match to outsmart your enemies. Whether you’re upgrading your gear, setting traps, or going full kamikaze, victory comes down to one thing: adapting fast - because the map’s out to ruin your best-laid plans.
No two matches are ever the same. Dynamic events, from sudden airstrikes to mutated mega-beasts, can flip the game on its head, ruining even the most carefully planned strategy. Lethal creatures and environmental hazards keep the stakes high and the chaos higher.
Build the gun the government warned you about. From grenade-launching sniper rifles to poison-spitting SMGs, ASCENDANT’s weapon customization offers 3 million mod combinations, letting you craft the ultimate overkill machine. But no matter how good your Franken-gun is, someone’s probably built something bigger, badder, and aimed it right at your head.
Fine-tune your character’s abilities and perks to suit your playstyle, whether you’re the ultimate biocore thief or the squad’s chaotic wildcard. Between matches, head to the social lobby, duel frenemies, or gear up for more mayhem. Or, if you’re craving an extra dose of carnage, enter the Thunderdome - a PvP arena where the only goal is to leave in one piece (and with bragging rights).
It’s brutal. It’s BioPunk. It’s survival with zero hand-holding... but it does have an epic soundtrack ('Final Countdown' anyone?). ASCENDANT keeps the action unpredictable and the stakes as high as your blood pressure. Bring your wits, your best squad, and maybe a will. You’re going to need all three.
