The values that keep Playtester a kind, safe, and welcoming place for players and developers alike.

At Playtester, our mission is to be the go-to platform where gamers can discover, engage with, and playtest the latest games. These Community Guidelines exist to foster a respectful, inclusive, and safe environment for everyone. By using Playtester, you agree to uphold these principles.

These guidelines apply to all interactions and content on Playtester, including game submissions, user interactions, and profile information. Violating these guidelines may lead to content removal, account suspension, or other actions as deemed appropriate by our moderation team.

Respect and Inclusion

  1. Be Respectful: Treat all members with kindness. Harassment, bullying, or any behavior intended to intimidate, shame, or harm others is prohibited.
  2. Maintain a Safe Environment: Avoid content that promotes violence, discrimination, or hate speech based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.
  3. Protect Privacy: Do not share personal information of others without their explicit consent.
  4. No Misinformation: Refrain from sharing false or misleading content that could harm others or disrupt the community.

Content and Interaction Standards

  1. Keep It Appropriate: Content that is explicit, offensive, or unsuitable for a general audience is not allowed.
  2. Avoid Spamming: Do not flood the platform with irrelevant content or unsolicited promotions.
  3. Contribute Positively: Ensure that your submissions and feedback are constructive and align with the purpose of supporting game discovery and engagement.

Platform Integrity

  1. No Malicious Activities: Any attempt to hack, exploit, or disrupt the platform’s functionality is strictly forbidden.
  2. Authentic Representation: Represent yourself accurately. Impersonation or deceitful representations are not permitted.
  3. Respect Platform Security: Phishing, malware distribution, or any actions that compromise account or data security will result in severe action.
