In this narrative roguelike you'll face enemies that emerge from mysterious crystals. Conjure with your wit powerful magical combinations to defeat them and make your way through the Eternal Night, uncovering its darkest secrets.
EXPLORE DURNIA
In this demo you will explore the outskirts of one single biome, the greens and woods of Durnia. A land striken by war in which both sides long ago forsook its light. Wander across procedural worlds, learn new magic, face your foes and speak with those still standing.
COMBAT
You'll choose between the fire and electricity elements (or both!), with a wide array of different attacks and combinations. Nightpyre will have up to twelve elements!
To cast your magic you'll need to sacrifice your movement and write the (procedurally generated) combinations you need. If they are correct, you'll cast the spell Try it out!
LEAVE YOUR MARK
Your score will be registered as a star on the firmament. The more Nightpyres you've lit, the brighter it will shine. Your character will be shown forever next to the others who fought to regain this world's light.
