In the years since the events of Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem, the world has been pushed to the edge of destruction. Forced out of exile, The Warlord - a bastard son of the Shadow God - and his companions become embroiled in a Prophecy that promises salvation for the World, but demands sacrifice. In their journey to save reality, the Warlord and his companions, including veterans from the first game, must come to terms with their fate - or reject it entirely. Enter a grim, dark fantasy world shaped by reality bending powers, a quest for freedom and meaningful choices, and horrors beyond the rift that you can face alone, or with up to four players in co-op.

There are no predefined classes. Your weapons unlock skills, while modifiers, specializations and a vast passive tree let you shape how those abilities work. Build a melee mage, spellblade, tank caster, gunslinger or an archetype entirely your own. Your identity evolves through the choices you make.

Fast, rhythmic combat pits you against evolving combinations of melee attackers, ranged threats and powerful enemies. Chain skills together, tear through dense packs and face brutal bosses. When the odds turn against you, unleash your Shadow Form to transform, overwhelm your enemies and become the darkness that even demons fear.

Your skills, weapons, passives and equipment are designed to work together. Hunt for build-defining items, gather materials and craft what your character needs. Experiment with mechanical synergies that can change how you fight, while clear and structured systems help you understand and refine every build.

Your Conquest leaves you in a world where factions continue fighting for territory and power across dynamically assembled battlefields. The Tower of Wonders offers a focused hunt for specific rewards, letting you influence the difficulty and outcome of each ascent. Both modes support continued power growth, new builds and long-term item collection.

Wolcen 2 is planned to enter Early Access on PC in 2027, with development focused on balance, performance, polish and player feedback. The full release is planned for PC and current-generation consoles, followed by further story content, activities and optional cosmetics designed to expand the world, systems and endgame over time.
