DIAPAUSE is a haunting sit-and-survive style indie horror game. Stuck within a cabin with only your wits and a spotty flashlight, defend your life against vicious monsters during the night, and solve mysterious puzzles while wandering the halls of your deteriorating mind during the day.
You've just moved away from your hometown into a wooden cabin some distant family member used to own. You were hoping to start on a new path in life. Already exhausted after moving in, you go to bed early.
When you wake up, something's terribly wrong. It's still night. The sky is bleeding strange colors. And you're not alone.
DIAPAUSE Is a point-and-click, sit-and-survive style indie horror game inspired by digital, analog and alternative horror from the internet era. During the night, you'll have to fend off the vicious monsters, creatures and constructs that haunt the dreary cabin you were so unfortunate to inhabit, only armed with your wits and a faulty flashlight. Taking on a dark, haunting low-poly aesthetic along with immersive and spine-crawling sound design, be ready to stand your ground.
Once the morning sun rises, you won't find rest quite yet. Relive long-forgotten memories in a mysterious location from your past. Explore your mind and solve puzzles in a 2d pixel art style. Uncover what is truly happening within the cabin - and outside of it. Perhaps the information you find while exploring will even help you while trying to survive.
